New to Buggyfit? Here is what to expect
Updated: Dec 6, 2020
If you have recently had a baby, you may be noticing some changes in your body including some aches and pains from feeding, lifting and carrying your little one.
Exercise goes a long way towards easing these, however the best you can do is to pay attention to your breathing and posture on a daily basis.
If you are about to try a Buggyfit class for the first time, here is what you can expect:
-Demonstration of good breathing technique -Pelvic floor exercises -A long warm-up to activate the whole of the posterior chain ie your back body including the calves, hamstrings, glutes and main back muscles, and your deeper abdominals -Exercises to open up your chest and mobilise your mid-back (common areas of tightness or weakness in new mums) -A full-body low-impact workout using your body weight as well as a resistance band -Cool-down and stretch to help you relax and recover faster
We always find time to chat at the start, during and after class as this is such an important part of mental maternal wellbeing
